Phil brought this up on the ride down: How many goals would Tambellini have had if he had played the whole season here? You lose the “chip on my shoulder” send-down in mid-December, which turned the season around, but give him more than 10 games here since January. Wouldn’t even be a race.
Anyway, I couldn’t vote for him and I didn’t vote for Rob Schremp. On the latter, given tonight, maybe I should have. Greg Mauldin’s short-hander has gotten Binghamton on the board with a climb ahead. Edit: Climb just got tougher: One-time Tiger Tim Sestito (who showed up right here at Giant Center) and Denis Hamel apparently got tossed for a secondary altercation. (Speaking of snubbed left wingers.)
