Most Valuable Krogger

I’m sure it’s no surprise when I tell you This Space is happy for Jason Krog, MVP. He was always good to us while he was here, I was very glad to see him in Bingo at the All-Star Game, and it’s a fantastic season that he’s having out in Rosemont. None of which changes the fact that it was Michael Leighton’s award this year.

It’s 1-0 Philly already on a goal that went off Triston Grant’s leg, John Walton said.

Tonight’s array, with a couple of switches on the fourth line:

BRIDGEPORT
F: Tambellini (A)-Walter-Jackman (A)
Comeau-Smith-Okposo
Keith-Colliton-Regier
Brennan/Morency
D: Fata-Ford
Kohn-Spiller
Fraser-Wotton (C)

LOWELL
F: Murphy-Vrana-Kell
Mike Pandolfo-Burton-Bergfors
Khomutov-Mills-Rasmussen
Leblond/Ryznar, (Palmeri-scratch)
D: Fraser- Grand-Pierre
Magnan-Zimmerman
Gunderson-Ruggeri

Lowell lists 32 players on the roster. Bridgeport has 27. The scratches should take about 45 minutes. Incidentally, Lowell’s current plus/minus leader is Trevor Kell, at even, but in only seven games. Of those who’ve played at least 10 games, only eight are in the minus-single-digits.

Edit:: It’s 1-1 in Philly, and the Sound Tigers have brought in the big guns: Bryan Trottier is on the bench, behind the forwards, with Capuano and Bingham.
