A busy Saturday just got busier: There’ll be a Game 5 tomorrow. Darren Haydar’s two second-period goals were below his normal output brought Chicago back from a 2-0 deficit. But then he was in the box for a Nathan Smith power-play goal early in the third. About midway through the third, Tim Brent was wide open on the left side and had some room, but he didn’t get all of the shot, and it went off Ondrej Pavelec’s right pad, off Pavelec’s right arm and stayed out as the goal-horn sounded: not quite. Didn’t matter in the end, though.
Traded for two brothers: Danny Syvret was traded to Philadelphia for Ryan Potulny on Friday. Back in February, Springfield loaned Syvret to Hershey for Grant Potulny.
