Big news to the northwest, where Tom Rowe has moved up to the Hurrycanes as an assistant coach. Just as big, from our provincial standpoint: Jeff Daniels is taking over Rowe’s old gig as bossman of the River Rats. Daniels was the co-captain of the Beast of New Haven in its first season (of two), 1997-98.
