The Sound Tigers are now also affiliated with the Odessa Jackalopes on top of Utah. This may be as much for training-camp purposes as anything. Jackalopes GM Joe Clark is a former Islanders employee and my kind of hockey guy: a former newspaper guy. Paul Gillis is Odessa’s head coach, and for the people who will get excited about that, I’m sure I don’t have to identify him.
