Camp, Day 4: So Very Tired

(Yes, recycled from last year)

It’s that time of year. All work, no reward, little sleep. Some tempers are testy. And that’s just us.

Capuano said the plan is to keep everyone through the weekend. So you’ll probably see rather kid-laden lineups again.

The injured still haven’t rejoined practice, though apparently most are skating on their own. Smith and McLean remained up.

Kohn will in fact wear No. 5 this year. Fraser’s switching to No. 3, too. Haven’t heard others yet.

Islanders signed Josh Bailey.

For the second year in a row, the AHL Guide and Record Book features a former Sound Tiger on the back cover. Following Eric Manlow last year, this time it’s Jason Krog, holding the Calder Cup over his head. So now it’ll be Krog helping support my Incredible Crashing Work Computer, which ran much better when I elevated it by placing it on the G+RB, thus keeping the fan about a half-inch off the table. (I can’t figure out what’s wrong with the space bar. Took it apart, put it back together: Same problem. We’ll see. Or we’ll learn to type left-handed.)

Check out the future Big Leaguers in this 1975 scan, as seen over on Uni Watch.
