Erik asked about the Nate Thompson claim, which I was waiting to confirm myself… moments later, appeared the release. Thompson has been claimed by the Islanders; Brett Skinner has been assigned to the Sound Tigers. (Saw it first at Botta’s, though he’s crediting elsewhere.)
