Yes, that joke was lame the first time. Though I like that the numbers all work.
Just caught on Botta that Rick DiPietro had another knee surgery and is out four to six weeks. Lawson/Mole ’08 is a tweaked groin away.
Anyway, Kohn and Marcinko are out tonight, with Wotton and Joensuu sliding back in. That’ll switch up the D-pairs a bit; it’s the first time Kohn-MacDonald has been split. Did I ever mention that the pairs drifted last night to Fraser-Callahan and Lee-Hillen by the middle of the third? No? Brilliant. Capuano said that was to try to recapture the momentum, which had swung toward Binghamton. A piece of those changes linger:

First BST game for referee Andy Thiessen, who seems to have received some good reviews. There’s always a critic, of course.
Here are some stories about the Pack-Sharks war game last night. BTW, Matt Jones suffered a broken jaw against the Sound Tigers last weekend. Bill Ballou also notes that Tim Jackman’s goal in that game was changed to a power-play goal; got to check that, but I had it coming exactly two minutes after a penalty.
Yann Danis tonight for the Big Club, our cohorts Logan and Botta report on the Island.
