This Space Intentionally Left Blank

No lines in Soundin’ Off’s polling place around 1 p.m., though you’d figure lines should dissipate freely with this fill-in-the-circle system we’re so lucky to have. With the cool, old voting machines, a line might’ve backed up. My hunch is I’m going 50-50 with my votes on the questions. Cast ’em for the state houses; for, what was it, registrar of voters? And, because my vote won’t matter, had a little fun with the U.S. representative vote. Who knows; you might be able to pick me out.

Was there anything else today? Nah. OK. (Can’t wait to vote in two years.)

(Scott Adams, as usual, has a good one.)

With the exception of the missing 13 — as Erik said, that was quick — the usual folks were out there this morning, albeit decked out in monochromatic fashion, because the Penguins bused in from Newark last night after flying in from Texas. Capuano again said he might look to work some new faces into the lineup; not, he stressed, because of anything that happened Sunday, but just because he’s got to get some of these guys some playing time. Haley’s name came up in particular. The latest word was still no to Walter.

Here’s Mike Sharp’s Nikulin-Fata story. On the blog, he has some more Cory Clouston comments on the Hillen goal/no goal.

Marty Brodeur is out for a long while, three to four months by the reports.
