First down by penalty

After lots of football (one more to go, but this one won’t keep us from practice), some early notes:

Greg Logan had this yesterday, but B. Mitchell Fritz is back. Doesn’t look like he’ll play tonight, though, nor does it look like it for Andrew MacDonald, though he said he is feeling OK. With eight defensemen and 15 forwards (and, with Okposo maybe close to returning up top, maybe more on the way), there’s no need to rush anybody.

Bryan Helmer is up to Washington from Hershey now, signing an NHL contract to do it. Coco has to be next.

There’s consideration of sending Petr Prucha to Hartford for a conditioning assignment, Larry Brooks reports. Yeesh. Remember what happened last time?

And RIP, Bep Guidolin.
