Whaddaya know, Haddi-Man?*

–Among other things, there’s one other Sound Tiger with 11 shots in a game: Tim Jackman, Feb. 29, 2008, at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. That does appear to be the team record, though: Hamilton 12/14/03, Jackman 2/29/08 and Mauldin 3/28/10. Only remember noticing three other 10s between 2003-04 and now, and interestingly enough, they’re by Hamilton (two in that season) and Jackman (a week or two before the 11). No mention of Jackman’s achievement in the postgame blog, though guess who’s referenced?

–There are two former Sound Tigers on the ECAC’s all-decade-past first team. (Thanks to Mike Madar for the tip.)

–Worcester can finish no lower than third. Two points gained by the Sharks or lost by Manchester clinches home ice. The division is a ways away.

–Portland will definitely compete in the Atlantic Division playoffs. One point gained by the Pirates or lost by the Devils clinches a top-three finish.

–Manchester can finish no lower than fifth and clinches a playoff spot with four points gained by the Monarchs or lost by Norfolk.

–Lowell and Bridgeport need six points gained by them or lost by Hartford to finish ahead of the Wolf Pack, and three points to finish ahead of Providence. The Devils can’t win the division; the Sound Tigers can’t get home ice. Lowell and Bridgeport both have a magic number of nine points against Norfolk (unless the Admirals lose four out of six in overtime… no, wait, even then, because Norfolk won both season series… so, unless the Admirals lose all six in overtime).

–One Providence point or one point lost by Springfield, and the Falcons are locked into eighth.

–We can still have the traditional Penguins-Sound Tigers first-round matchup. The Penguins win out, the River Rats lose out, Lowell beats the Sound Tigers in overtime, Bridgeport otherwise wins out, Manchester wins its other two games. WBS is 2E, BPT is 5A but 3E. There: That was easy.

Oh, and Hershey’s, like, really good. If you don’t finish fourth here or third there, you’ve got to play them in the first round. “So, you can see how that might be less than pleasant.”*

Meanwhile, we’ll be chatting here at 1:30 Tuesday, as long as this sinus infection hasn’t caved in my chest by then.
