Edit: Just to break it out, it finally became official Tuesday that Mikko Koskinen has been loaned to KalPa. Theoretically, they could call him back in an emergency, but that’s unlikely. He’s a restricted free agent at the end of the year. Most interestingly, if I’m reading the translation correctly, he’s taking on No. 52. And though this is not technically Fun with Google Translate: I’m surely no expert in declining Finnish nouns, but the team’s nickname becomes “KalPasta” in some case or another, which sounds like an awesome English-language marketing tie-in.
