Game 1

First AHL playoff game between two Connecticut teams since April 22, 1998. That one closed down the New Haven Coliseum for AHL postseason action, though we didn’t know that yet. There’ll be at least one more here.

Both teams have an extra. The indication from practices this week were that they’re Romano and Klassen. Edit: they are.

The Whale added another ATO today, defenseman Samuel Noreau, though he’s obviously not playing tonight. In tonight’s lineup, Christian Thomas, Marek Hrivik and Steve Moses are all on ATOs, and J.T. Miller is on his way. They’ve got a few more in reserve.
