Reports from all the major players that the Islanders will announce today that they’ll leave the Coliseum for Brooklyn and the new Barclays Center when the lease expires in 2015. So at least they stay in the area — on the Island, technically.

Slightly more mundanely, no Anders Nilsson on the ice today.
Edit: This mess, as it was, is what I get for trying to blog from a cell. Anyway. Video here shortly if not already of the presser. Scott Pellerin said Nilsson, “we wanted to give him a day off just to kind of get his body back, see how he’s doing, get him ready.”
