Welcome aboard

Worcester, winless, has boosted the toughness in its lineup. Bridgeport returns Brett Gallant to the lineup in the spot that’s been variable. First AHL game for referee Pierre Lambert. Good luck, bud.

Matt Donovan appears to move alongside Ty Wishart; Nathan McIver takes Donovan’s old spot with Travis Hamonic. Both teams have one to scratch. It looked like Marc Cantin and Brandon Mashinter. That appears true from the lineups online and first indications, though don’t think they ever announced it.

Report from up top is that everything went well with Calvin de Haan’s surgery.

Meanwhile, Donald Fehr: “The message from the owners seems to be: if you don’t give us exactly what we want, there is no point in talking. They have shown they are very good at delivering deadlines and demands, but we need a willing partner to negotiate.” Maybe December.
