Full house…

…and maybe getting fuller. Bridgeport’s injured players were, except for Calvin de Haan, all on for the full practice Friday, and the only one in red (no-contact) was Kirill Kabanov. And Scott Pellerin said Kabanov could be ready to take contact Monday. Progress.

Matt Watkins, John Persson and Marc Cantin were all back in full-contact mode today, as was Max MacKay yesterday. Pellerin said they’ll see how Watkins is feeling later on before any decisions. Persson, the coach said, it was left up to him to decide whether to give it a go, and it appears he got through well after giving it that go. (It also explained why his practice line, with Mike Halmo, Johan Sundstrom and Sean Backman, was one of two with four players.) Cantin, “he’s worked hard to come back,” Pellerin said. That’s nine defensemen at the moment. (The Islanders have eight, not counting Lubomir Visnovsky, after claiming Brian Strait from the Penguins.)

Talked to Bridgeport’s all-stars for tomorrow’s story. Mike Ashmore has a piece on Mark Arcobello on the ECHL’s site.

Original Sound Tiger Dick Tarnstrom retires, Linus Hugosson reports.

Binghamton plays Toronto at home tonight before heading here.

And I guess the scrimmage news got out there.
