Springfield pregame: What’s the buzz?

I could give you facts and figures. I could give you plans and forecasts. (I could tell you I went with “Jesus Christ Superstar” for today’s ride and saved “Godspell” for Saturday, but you probably gathered that already.) The short version is that, with Worcester meeting the Whale tonight, with Hershey six points ahead and the Whale seven and the Penguins eight, and with Manchester four ahead in ninth, Bridgeport’s easiest path to the playoffs remains “win lots of games.”

John Persson didn’t make the trip, so it appears Ben Rosen makes his pro debut. Dallas Jackson looks to be the last scratch for Bridgeport. Edit: He is. No McElhinney for the Falcons.
