Mike,
What’s all this I read, that when the coliseum is renovated that the Sound Tigers will break their Webster lease and go there?
So here’s my take on this story for what it’s worth. After the 2013-2014 season the Islanders move to Brooklyn, the team now known as the Sound Tigers moves to Long Island, and another team (No, not the Rangers) which is having financial difficulty where it is moves to Bridgeport. I don’t really follow the AHL anymore since I no longer work as an off ice official, but my guess is of the 30 (?) teams there have to be at least a couple that can’t make ends meet where they now play and they will be looking for a new venue after the upcoming season.
