Camp from Afar, Day R4

But first off, as Brendan McCarthy has been beating the drum on since pretty much January, the All-Star Game’s going back to St. John’s: The AHL announced a major announcement there Tuesday morning at 9:30 Eastern.

Rookie camp rolls on (until Tuesday, when it ends); official-site features on Calvin de Haan and Anders Lee. Timing and other factors may actually keep us away from camp for a while. We’ll see. That main camp, reports Arthur Staple, is expected to include Radek Martinek and maybe Brad Boyes on tryouts.

Kael Mouillierat is apparently going to camp with Winnipeg.

And the Chicago Wolves signed technical-Islander Shane Harper, acquired from Philadelphia as 50-contract coverage in the Mark Streit trade. (You may remember that the poor guy got the subhead, while the draft pick got the headline.)
