From the lineup Arthur just tweeted, looks like a Bridgeport exhibition game tonight in Newark. Special alumni guests Bailey-Nielsen-Okposo, presumably, only because Tambellini’s in Europe. (Besides, considering that they’re likely to keep most of their players through next weekend, a Bridgeport exhibition game would probably look a lot like a Stockton exhibition game.)
I guess they have decided against preseason games. Do they think scrimmages will serve the same purpose as preseason contests? Just hope they’ll be ready to go on the 5th.
Vladimir Nikiforov (Long Island kid) has come back from Russia to sign with Quad City. Had a cup of coffee with BPT a few years ago.
