First point for Arcobello

Tuned into the free Center Ice preview tonight to watch a little Mark Arcobello in Edmonton’s game against Winnipeg. The real show has been Jesse Joensuu: Remember how Jesse would have those shifts where it looked as if it had clicked in his mind that he was huge and could play that way, and he’d be dominant? He’s playing that way fairly regularly tonight.

But that helped Arcobello: Joensuu banged a power-play rebound home in the crease to extend the Oilers’ lead to 4-2 in the second period. Arcobello had the second assist (Jordan Eberle hit a post and got a second whack in between) for his first NHL point. It’s his second NHL game.

Arcobello, you may remember, had a big year for Oklahoma City last year, right into the playoffs.
