So it could be worse, lol

  2. The three worse in current terms were all in 2011, albeit in different seasons: December, as you said (.167), January (.192), February (.208).

With that in mind, I guess you can look at it as possible points available to what they acheived and they have only 3 points out of a possible 14 for the month which works out to 21.4%. I’m sure they have had worse months, December 2011 quickly comes to mind as a bad month where they got 4 points out of a possible 24 for a 16.7% acheivement.

  4. Poorly; fourth from the bottom. Much better under current rules than under past rules (no shootouts/no OTL point), under which it would’ve likely been the worst. There is the caveat that I’m not fond of comparing Octobers/Aprils to the others, because they play fewer games. The “regular” month in which they played the fewest games was this past February, 9. If you pull the old 502-plate-appearances-for-the-batting-title trick and give them two regulation wins, it kicks the no-SO rank to 10th-worst and the no-OTL/SO rank to seventh, and the real and actual percentage out of the bottom 10. (This is the 85th calendar month.)

Month over now, how does this month’s futility compare with other seasons? 3 points puts Bridgeport 1 point ahead of Utica for #30!!
