Scott Pellerin said it wasn’t fair to expect a kid to play yesterday, deal with that cross-country travel ordeal and then jump right into the lineup. Calvin de Haan seemed good to go this morning and is in the middle of warmup right now, so looks like he’s in. Edit: Indeed, scratch Escobedo, and de Haan’s starting.
Please also add No. 4, Mike Cornell of Franklin, Mass., up from Florida (ECHL) after flying in from Atlanta, where the Everblades played last night (well, in Gwinnett). He’ll be in tonight, making his AHL debut. A UMaine product, and a righty. (And the third Bridgeport defenseman named Mike. I support this trend.)
And then there’s Sean Wiles, Chris Langkow, Kirill Kabanov. So a good bit of the lineup is different from Monday.
