Thanksgiving swap

Got that one in just in time: The Islanders announced this morning that they’ve sent Matt Donovan down and called up Calvin de Haan from the Sound Tigers. Last year’s playoffs, I guess, were de Haan’s technical return to the NHL for the first time since December 2011, but he’ll likely get to play this time.

Sound Tigers were off — I was off freezing myself at Law along with Colin Lydiksen, son of Harbor Yard ice guru Cliff — and are back to work tomorrow to begin a three-in-three. (Free kids ticket for each full-price ticket purchased: coupon available at the website.)
