Thursday notes from afar

Team skated in Glens Falls this morning, and sounds as if things are status quo. Especially being on the road, Scott Pellerin said, they’ll wait and see on the injured players, which likely means no big lineup changes tomorrow. They’ll evaluate everyone when they get home. (That includes Brett Gallant.) They have an extra at both forward and defense, and sounded like everyone else was OK, so they’re fine for the one day left on the roadie.

(They were so on the road that I got Pellerin on the bus. Asked me to speak up over the movie. I neglected my duties and didn’t ask what they were watching.)

A reminder that we’ll be liveblogging the road game tomorrow night here. Would love to see Utica once, but oh well.

In case you wondered if replay problems were indigenous to Bridgeport: Glens Falls’ was turned off last night, Diana C. Nearhos reports. Cost the Phantoms a look at that no-goal call in the final seconds.

And Brock Nelson doesn’t play again up top, but Anders Nilsson gets his third start in a row tonight, Arthur Staple reports.
