A swap up front

The Sound Tigers were joined by Pierre-Marc Bouchard this morning at Harbor Yard, a day of practice to try to rebound from Tuesday morning’s defeat. When they went in lines, he appeared to be with Alan Quine and Jon Sim, with Kirill Kabanov mixing in. The Lee-Sundstrom-Halmo line remained together.

Nick Larson skated early but had a doctor’s appointment. Everyone else who played yesterday skated, as did Sean Escobedo, but the other injured didn’t practice with the team.

The Islanders — shocker — recalled Ryan Strome today, finally and officially. I don’t get why, after they won last night in San Jose.

And Bob Crawford on Micheal Haley, injury and fatherhood. (Quick post-post edit: The Wolf Pack announced Sonar is getting a new look. Aw.)
