Add one to the list: Thursday notes

No Chris Bruton this weekend; still not well from his upper-body injury, Scott Pellerin said, so he’ll skip the trip with the team to Lewiston and Springfield.

The PK proceeds without him and, as it has for a month, without Johan Sundstrom, but he’s a step closer; he’ll go on the trip, though he remains targeted for next weekend.

No Lewiston trip for us, either, so we’ll liveblog it here. (May be a post in between. The spreadsheet worked overtime last night.)

Peter Mannino story from Wheeling, where he’s back in action. And remember the other day when Jason Guarente mentioned Sean Wiles to Hershey? His PTO had never popped up in the AHL transactions. It did today, for Tuesday… along with his release yesterday. Ah well. Manchester’s roster shuffled a bit yesterday, with a couple of call-ups, a couple of send-downs, and a trade, longtime Monarch Brandon Kozun to Toronto for Andrew Crescenzi.

USCHO has a two-game suspension for Alex Vazzano, the Sacred Heart goalie from Trumbull.

And via the IIHF twitter feed, former Oilers coach Ralph Krueger is joining Southampton. Yes, the soccer team.
