Syracuse pregame: Missing goalie?

I don’t believe Cedric Desjardins, who’s been among the better goalies in the league the past few years, has ever played here. (Please correct me if I’m misremembering). Backed up the two games Norfolk played here in November 2010 (Mark Wotton in overtime; Poulin’s shutout in Jack Capuano’s last game here), was still with Hamilton when Syracuse played here last year, was in the Rumored Conference otherwise.

Just a curiosity, but the streak continues, as Kristers Gudlevskis, who shut Bridgeport out in October, gets the call tonight. Kenny Reiter goes for Bridgeport. Brett Gallant took warmup wearing an A, which made me wonder if he might sneak back in, but it didn’t look like it from line rushes. One to scratch each way. Edit: Indeed Gallant and Sergeev.

Meanwhile Scott Stuccio tweeted earlier that Mike Haviland won’t coach today for Hershey because of a medical issue. Hope all’s well with Haviland, and Tim Leone tweeted later that Doug Yingst said it’s minor.
