Pistilli, PTO presumably

Reinforcement, apparently, from the Naples Daily News‘ Jake Perper: forward Matthew Pistilli, all of whose 181 AHL games were played for either the Albany River Rats or the Charlotte Checkers. He has 60 points in those 181 AHL games, including eight in 14 this year (the Checkers just let him go from a PTO on Friday); he has 146 points in 140 ECHL games, including 75 in 74 last year and 36 in 28 this year for the Florida Everblades.

He would make 42 players this year for Bridgeport, one fewer than last year but nowhere near (yet) the 62 of three years ago.

Meanwhile, Sean Bergenheim turned down a chance to play in the Olympics; George Richards talked to him about it.
