Happy 1000: Albany pregame

Rich Stieglitz and family in the house. Must be a special occasion.

The return of Matt Donovan from the NHL means that Scooter Vaughan can move back up front. Appears Chris Langkow can play; Justin Johnson looked to be the odd man tonight (and was, by one report at least, a bit under the weather himself). Matthew Pistilli makes his Bridgeport debut in No. 36, first to wear it since Tim Wallace.

And Johan Sundstrom returns. His first game since Dec. 14.

Some pregame stuff is expected to honor Game 1,000 in franchise regular-season history. Should be fun.

Andrey Pedan didn’t play in Alaska last night; word from up there was that was just a day to get acclimated after a full day of travel, arriving late Thursday. He got a full skate in this morning and most likely plays tonight.
