The Islanders have traded mainstay Andrew MacDonald for a Maine Black Bear and two draft picks. MacDonald goes to the Flyers; they get two picks and Matt Mangene, second-year pro forward who’s been with Adirondack. Capgeek has him a restricted free agent after this year.
