Who are these… oh, wait: Wednesday notes

A different-looking Bridgeport team than we remember.

Halmo with Langkow and Vaughan.

Diamond with Holmstrom and Harris.

Mangene alongside Gallant.

Sundstrom with Antipin and Bruton.

Donovan. Mayfield.

It’s almost like a midseason practice.

Almost.

“There’s still guys like Hickman, Antipin, Holmstrom, Crus Rydberg, Harris, all the young defensemen,” Scott Pellerin said. “We’re still teaching the identity of the team and the organization. … It’s a little bit of a different approach, but we do have guys who’ve been here before.”

Justin Johnson had a doctor’s appointment, so hopefully we’ll get him on his NHL debut tomorrow. Got a few of the other guys today for tomorrow’s paper.

Pellerin said Jason Clark’s dealing with an upper-body injury and isn’t likely to skate the rest of the week.

Our old buddy Pat Pickens gave us the heads up on Twitter: MSG right now is showing the 1986 Patrick Division semifinals between the Rangers and the Flyers. They’re in the first period of Game 3 at the Garden at this moment.

The Port Jeff Ferry terminal is a step closer to moving to the other side of the harbor.

And we had a nice initial response to the Fake Team Awards. If you haven’t voted, please do.
