Nilsson to Russia announced (was Belated Tuesday boxes/notes)

Edit: Kazan announced it has signed Anders Nilsson to a one-year contract. His KHL rights had been sold earlier, as linked below, so, yeah, this was the next logical step.

If it’s spring conference championship week, must be rain…

The AHL conference finals resume Wednesday, both tied at 1: Monday night, Texas finally beat Toronto, grabbing a 4-3 lead in the second and putting it away with two more in the third. Down in the Coast, Cincinnati is through to the Kelly Cup Final; Alaska has a chane to join them.

Anders Nilsson’s KHL rights go to Kazan. Andrew Clark will play in Denmark.

And RIP, Massimo Vignelli.
