A triple local press release from Springfield: The Falcons have signed Jaime Sifers, Riley Wetmore and Mathieu Gagnon to AHL contracts. Sifers is the former Fairfield Prep standout from Stratford who went on to UVM and the Toronto organization before going to Germany the past few years. Wetmore and Gagnon both played here and in Stockton on AHL contracts last year.
Meanwhile, Texas has its new coach, Derek Laxdal.
