Rearranged lineup: Wednesday practice

Missing today were Andrew Rowe and Tyler Shattock, let go from their tryouts, and Loic Leduc, sent to Stockton. All three got praise from Brent Thompson, who said Leduc may have been the most-improved player in camp. Just not a lot of room at this point: They’re at 15 forwards, eight defensemen and three goalies. Along those lines, no indication that Francis Wathier is coming here as things stand. .

New lines, with Anders Lee (in his old Bridgeport 9; Ryan Pulock had his NHL 6) in town: Lee-Mouillierat-Halmo; Zolnierczyk-Quine-Collberg; Persson-Sundstrom-Gillies; Gallant-Langkow-Vaughan; Courtnall-Stretch-Sutter. There was still a bit of mix-and-match of defense pairs.

A more rigid numbers squeeze put Lee here. “You’ve got to move on,” Lee said. “You can’t be dwelling on it.” It’s a new day; he’ll focus on playing his usual game, continuing to get better.
