Third day, more changes: Springfield pregame

Three-in-threes may be slightly mitigated when you’ve got bunches of extra bodies. Bridgeport will utilize most of them against Springfield. Along with them comes a swap of right wingers.

Homecoming for Jaime Sifers, the former Fairfield Prep defenseman from Stratford. Both teams have one to scratch. Looked like Justin Courtnall for Bridgeport and former Sound Tiger Riley Wetmore for Springfield.

(For what it’s worth, catching up, appears Saturday’s D pairs opened up Pedan-Czuczman, Reinhart-Graham for about 10 minutes. Changed to Pedan-Reinhart, Czuczman-Graham. Reinhart back to the left today with three righties in the lineup.)

Meanwhile, a scoring change gave C.J. Stretch yet another assist (on the Czuczman goal) last Sunday. He had, thus, a three-point game in his Bridgeport debut. Only others of those that I’ve got: Blake Comeau (0-4-4 at Binghamton), Jeff Tambellini (2-1-3 a week later) and, in his rehab stint, Mike Sillinger (0-3-3 against the Phantoms) — and both Comeau and Tambellini had played in the playoffs the year before. Respectable company.
