Familiar line change/Huskies vs. Bobcats: Tuesday notes

One swap — well, one and a half — from Sunday’s lines to note: A trio we saw a bit Sunday, Lee-Quine-Mouillierat, was together, giving a longer look at Alan Quine in the middle and Kael Mouillierat on the wing. That put Sebastian Collberg where Quine started Sunday, with Mike Halmo and Johan Sundstrom. Mark Nemec skated up front with Justin Courtnall and Colton Gillies to even everything out, five lines and four defense pairs.

Slightly tighter security in the parking lot with the circus coming to town, though the greatest show on earth follows the first show of UConn hockey at Harbor Yard. Quinnipiac’s in town tonight to face the Huskies.

Elsewhere, one-night stand, apparently: Peter Mannino released from Toledo. Meanwhile, with Anton Forsberg to Columbus, Springfield called up Scott Munroe from the ECHL; it sent Riley Wetmore down to K-zoo today.

A few familiar names on the IIHF’s list of officials assignments for some upcoming tournaments.

I try not to get worked up over polls — votin’ ain’t easy, I know — but Ansonia football’s freefall in both after a one-score loss in the potential game of the year seems … severe? An admission that they were horribly wrong in the first place? But then… I mean, I know there’s a lot of internal logic to individual ballots that affects totals, and poll math isn’t always real math, but on the surface, good team vs. good team, 5/7 beats 4/3 by six: The plummet feels a bit surprising.

Anyway, no matter; high school hockey season is about two months away.

And RIP, Oscar de la Renta.
