Mills first suspension from AHL’s new PED program

The AHL’s new drug testing and education program has produced its first suspension: Former Yale forward Brad Mills of the Binghamton Senators drew a 20-game suspension. No specifics announced, but Mills has already served four games, the league said.

The PHPA issued a statement on Mills’ behalf: “I apologize to my family, friends, fans and teammates for the mistake I made and I take full responsibility for this error. I accept and respect my suspension and I look forward to returning to the ice and working to resume my career.”
