Sivak up, three day-to-day: Halloween notes

Happy Halloween. With hockey, field hockey, volleyball and football this week, I’m apparently going as myself 15 years ago.

A busy November (14 games in 30 days) begins tomorrow after a busy day today at Wonderland. International Silver Sticks. Marauding kids. Bridgeport got a short but intense skate in amid the kids’ games. But after a few weeks with extra bodies around, it was a bit shorter today. Bridgeport recalled Peter Sivak from Stockton to make 12 forwards with Harry Zolnierczyk, Mike Halmo and Sebastian Collberg all out again. Brent Thompson said they’ll be evaluated in the morning to see who may be available at Albany. (We’ll liveblog that one; 5 p.m. start.)

In the meantime, Sivak popped right into Zolnierczyk’s spot. Had a good chat with him. Should run in the paper tomorrow. He’s got No. 59, which is the second-lowest unworn number (56) for the Sound Tigers.

Elsewhere, a gambling investigation in Rochester included an Islanders reference.
