Pulock an all-star

The Sound Tigers’ all-star representative is Ryan Pulock, leading the league, let alone rookies and defensemen, with 10 power-play goals.

Now he has three weeks to get healthy and get there. (Wouldn’t be the first time Bridgeport’s rookie all-star defenseman couldn’t go. Heck, wouldn’t be the second. But that’s a ways away.)

Pulock is their lone representative. Would imagine some others like Colin McDonald, Harry Zolnierczyk, Kael Mouillierat, Aaron Ness were under consideration in the Eastern Conference, but it’s a jigsaw puzzle, and Bridgeport’s out of playoff position.

T.J. Brennan, almost an Islander, was named to the Western Conference team.

Edit: The league points out that Drew and Nick Shore will become the second set of brothers to play in the same all-star game. The Ferraro twins did it, too.
