Pulock coming back: Thursday notes

Ryan Pulock was back taking the first set of drills alongside Aaron Ness at Wonderland today, which was a good tipoff: Bridgeport’s expecting Pulock to be available this weekend for the first time since Jan. 2. Everything’s feeling good, he said. More on him in tomorrow’s paper.

Chris Langkow and Justin Courtnall were back on the ice, but not skating was Lukas Sutter. Couldn’t tell Tuesday what had gotten him — turned out to be a puck — but he lost four or five teeth, and that was (logically) still affecting him today, Brent Thompson said.

Yesterday’s day off the ice turned out to be a team-building day: They went bowling in Milford. “Sometimes it’s a mental thing,” Thompson said. “Just get away from the game as a team, a change. Hopefully it’s Step 1 to turning the ship around. They came in and had a good practice today.”
