Three Senator goalies

A goalie fight is a fun rarity to see. Watching a team need to play three goalies is the Holy Grail, like what almost happened in Florida earlier this season.

One led to the other tonight in Binghamton against Utica. Chris Driedger had left the game with an injury early in the second period. Peter Mannino took over. And then, after the Senators’ Darren Kramer went after Frank Corrado

This happened.

That’s from Matt Weinstein of the Press and Sun-Bulletin.

Edit, 4/16: Utica posted video, with the Kramer-Corrado context:

So Mannino and Jacob Markstrom are both done: secondary altercation. Driedger’s hurt. Fortunately for Binghamton, the Sens are carrying a third goalie, Scott Greenham. He comes in, Binghamton’s third goalie of the night.

That has never happened in a Sound Tigers game. Top of my head, not sure of the last time I saw that anywhere.

Edit: Brandon DeFazio scored twice to reach 21 goals this season. Not bad at all. But Binghamton won it in overtime.
