Louis Leblanc’s Sound Tigers debut isn’t happening: He’s on unconditional waivers, and the word around here is that it’s so he can go to the KHL (team unspecified). And so ends his brief Islanders tenure and, with it, Bridgeport’s veterans problem. Six spots, six vets (two of them V-320s).
That resolved, it still sounds as if Matt Carkner will get tonight off in Providence. Sebastian Collberg appears set to slide in for Jared Gomes instead of Leblanc. Expecting everything otherwise to look pretty similar to Tuesday.
