Idle hands often win the next night: Hershey pregame

This will be the Sound Tigers’ fourth game for which they were idle the night before but their opponent played (and traveled, though this’ll be the first time Bridgeport, which went out there early Friday, does so on the road*). Bridgeport won the first three: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton opening night, Utica in overtime on Nov. 1, and Springfield a week ago tonight. Two were won going away against teams that’d won the night before; the other was Utica, which lost 6-1 to Albany before coming to Bridgeport. Hershey comes home similarly knocked about, and against a rival. More tired, or more ticked off? We’ll see.

Or, more accurately, probably, you will. Not sure when I’ll be picking up listening to this one, but you can from the start (Audio / Pay-per-view) and catch me up, huh? Listen to Scott Stuccio and follow him on Twitter.

The box should be here. (R: Terry Koharski. L: Jason Mandroc, Luke Murray.)

Huge win for Missouri last night; hat trick for Colin Markison.

More later on.

*-Of course. Bridgeport has played 10 home games already. Stockton plays its 10th game, period, tonight, and Grand Rapids only got there last night.
