If we work hard, if we behave: Lehigh Valley pregame

Back to work with a pretty similar-looking group, albeit in some different arrangements in some cases. Connor Jones, who was the closest of the injured trio last weekend, is the one who gets back in, for Jesse Root. Matt Carkner sits out tonight, and Matt Finn gets in, playing with Ryan Pulock, split from Kevin Czuczman for the first time this season.

With word that Jaro Halak is day-to-day, suppose a goalie move could be coming by tomorrow. But both Chris Gibson and Stephon Williams are here tonight.

Dave Banfield among those workin’, too.

How did I not know Peter Zingoni was working down here? He’s working for Comcast Spectacor and doing color on the team’s TV broadcasts. Says all’s well with him and he’s enjoying it.

First trip here. Nice barn. Told they’re expecting a big crowd, too. Lots of suites for the fancies. Looks like a decent bowl, sightlines from some spots on the concourse. Tim Hortons in the house (which Brent Thompson was very excited about).

Meanwhile in Albany, their game with Providence was delayed about an hour and a half while police investigated a suspicious package in the parking lot. What a world.
