Power lines: Thursday notes

A lot of structural work in practice today, then closing with work on the power play. Joe Whitney and Ryan Pulock stayed out late to continue working on it. More tomorrow in the paper.

(If you put Whitney, Bernie Cassell, Greg Cronin and a whiteboard on a stage, I’d buy a ticket. Just sayin’. Hours of edu-tainment.)

Justin Vaive sat it out sick, but everyone else you’d expect was out there, including the returning Loic Leduc, and Jesse Graham, a little stronger than yesterday.

The AHL all-star teams will be announced shortly.

Only because two Bridgeport games are involved… there’s… this from Hartford. So… yeah.

Kevin Poulin returned from injury last night for Stockton. Some of his old teammates made it a tough one in the end, but he made 32 saves, and San Jose needed a six-on-four goal to get to overtime.

Lindsay Kramer on Syracuse’s Tanner Richard and why people want to punch him.

The twelve days of Christmas ended, and on Three Kings Day, the Kings and assorted other teams gave us a bunch of transactions. It continued today, and current factors aside, how weird is it to see Anaheim trading for a goalie?

And RIP, Pat Harrington.
