Hartford Game POSTPONED (update: Hershey ppd., too)

As this thing gets dicier, the Sound Tigers and Hartford postponed tonight’s game, TBA. Tickets for tonight’s game can be used for the makeup or exchanged for tickets to another home game.

Edit: The league announced at 4 p.m. that Sunday’s game at Hershey is off as well.

There don’t appear to be a ton of options for making these games up, and none appealing, as usual. For Hartford: Monday could work, though I wonder (a) if weather’s a concern (gotta get to and from Hershey tomorrow, theoretically) and (b) packs next week in a little tighter, too, five games in seven days to get to the all-star break. Matching schedules and avoiding four-in-fives, without rearranging other things, I’ve got the last day of the all-star break, a couple of weekdays early the next week, the first Monday and Tuesday in April, and a few dates that probably aren’t viable because of either setup or cleanup for Monster Jam.

original post: Now, can they get to Hershey by tomorrow? Stay tuned. I triangulated Hartford/Bridgeport/Arena schedules last night instead of, you know, getting boots, finding shovels and the like. Maybe I’ll waste today with the Giant Center website.

So, nope, apparently. There are similar issues with making the game up at Hershey. I count seven possibilities, though the most appealing dates create a three-in-three for one team or the other. A few midweek dates in February. A Thursday/Friday in March. Easter weekend, though Hershey has Disney on Ice coming in soon after. Logistical fun.
