What snow: Springfield pregame

“Especially where I’m from, every winter there’s one really big one. It’s pretty usual. It melts soon enough.” –Brock Nelson, Feb. 13, 2013

A couple of warmish days have knocked the snow down to manageable-to-laughable heights in Bridgeport. It helps that it wasn’t three feet deep to start with, like it was in the storm that inspired me to ask Minnesotans about blizzards.

Scott Mayfield and Kane Lafranchise in, Loic Leduc and Bryce Aneloski out, but otherwise pretty much the lineup that faced St. John’s here a week ago. J.F. Berube’s conditioning stint continues.

Springfield got Christian Thomas back from the Coyotes today, so he’s a solid addition for them.
