Pennsylvania in the Pink: Wilkes-Barre pregame

Back in the second home for years and years, NEPA Civic Aren First Union A Wachovia The Arena at Casey Plaza. (No, people, Mohegan Sun is in Uncasville. Wait, what?) Still, it never gets less weird to drive past the last place where your brain was anything close to normal. Hoping this supposed new Tim Hortons off I-84 will ease the discomfort tonight.

The Islanders assigned Scott Mayfield to the Sound Tigers to make room for the return of Johnny Boychuk, but it didn’t appear Mayfield was joining the team tonight, so looks like the same lineup for Bridgeport as last night.

Jarrett Burton, up from Wheeling, makes his AHL debut tonight for the Penguins. Pink In the Rink night, complete with pink ice.
