Missouri stayed alive in the Kelly Cup playoffs with a 3-1, come-from-behind win at Allen. Carter Verhaeghe and Ross Johnston had a goal and an assist apiece for the Mavericks, who go home for Games 6 and, they hope, 7 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Big win for Albany in Game 3. Nick Lappin tied it on a short-handed-but-extra-attacker rebound in the final seconds, then won it with a power-play goal late in the first overtime. Lake Erie grabbed a 3-0 series lead with a 2-1 win at Grand Rapids; Joonas Korpisalo made 41 saves. Game 3 of Ontario-San Diego is on at this writing, the Reign down by a goal at the moment but up 2-0 in the series.
